My husband Jim and I arrived early to the Galen Center for the USC Student Athlete Graduation Celebration. We were the first ones in line. The next person in line with us was USC Football Senior Juliano Falaniko’s Great Aunt Ivona. Ivona flew in from Hawaii for Juliano’s graduation. We spoke for a while until Ivona went to go sit in the shade.
Then, there was a BIG problem. The Door attendants told Trojan Candy that no cameras were allowed. WHAT! I regrettably started walking back to the garage to put my cameras in my car trunk. On the way, Jim phoned me and told me that the matter had been cleared up by Jennifer Noriega! Thank you, Jennifer!
Trojan Candy literally ran back to the Galen Center and took my cameras to the seat that my sister Patti Poon had saved for me. Then, it was back outside to take pictures.
Now it was time for the Graduate Celebration to begin.
The Stevens Scholars, who are senior student athletes with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher, were honored in the next two videos.
Next, Trojan Candy took pictures at the bottom of the ramp of athletic graduates, whom I have personally met.
Now it was time for the graduates to go outside for their group picture on the Galen Center stairs.

Now, Trojan Candy literally went around taking pictures of the graduates whom I knew.
As Trojan Candy was walking toward the Galen Center, I saw our 2022 NCAA Beach Volleyball Champions. The ladies posed for me first, then they posed for the other photographers who ran over to get their own picture.
As Jim and I walked outside, we saw Great Aunt Ivona whom we met when we were in line to enter the Galen Center. Trojan Candy took this picture of her nephew Juliano Falaniko with his mother and Great Aunt Ivona.
What a memorable day for all of the USC Athletic Graduates!
