Friday, November 27, 2015---Women of Troy Volleyball vs Cal and Two Football Band Rallies Too!

This morning Trojan Candy flew from San Francisco into LAX at 12:30 pm. I went home and drove back to the Galen Center in time to take pictures at the Women of Troy Volleyball match versus the Cal Bears.

It was Senior Day for the three volleyball Seniors. Trojan Candy took pictures of the Senior parents as they waited in the tunnel.

Brett and Pamela Ettinger
Eve Ettinger's parents Brett and Pamela were first in line.
Joe, Michael, and Laura Ogoms
Alicia Ogoms' family was next in line. Dad Joe, brother Michael and mom Laura smiled for this picture.
 Jessica Davis
Trojan Candy spoke with Samatha Bricio's mom and dad in my limited Spanish and took a picture of the two of them in line. However, Samatha got in line with them, so I took this picture of the three of them. Mother Estela Guillermo, Sam and father Ramos Guillermo.

Each Senior and her family were introduced as they walked onto the court.

Pac 12 ChampsRight after the pep rally ended, Trojan Candy was driven back to the Galen Center by my brother-in-law Dudley Poon. I got there just in the nick of time. The Women of Troy easily defeated the Cal Bears in three sets. The Team was posing at the net wearing new gray t-shirts that read, "Pac-12 Volleyball Champions."

Mick Haley and Brent MetzThen, there was a big celebration on the court. I took a picture of Coach Mick Haley and Strength and Conditioning Coach Brent Metz. FIGHT ON, Women of Troy Volleyball Champions!

After the Women of Troy Volleyball celebration, Trojan Candy had one more event to attend. I drove to the USC Pep Rally at the Americana at Brand in Glendale. Dr. Art Bartner hosted a reception above the plaza in the Caruso Suite.

My last picture of the day was of Dr. Art Bartner and two new friends, Roberta and Art Perez.

Dr. Bartner had told the audience earlier that USC would beat the Bruins.

With that, I say, "Good Night and Beat the Bruins!"
