Friday, November 13, 2015---Women of Troy Basketball vs. Hope International

The Women of Troy opened its 2015-2016 basketball season against Hope International.

The Spirit of Troy, directed by Tony Fox, was there.

Sunday, November 8, 2015---Women of Troy Basketball vs. Cal State San Marcos

Sophie Bukovec, Sara Hughes and Dr. GeneBefore the Women of Troy exhibition began, Trojan Candy saw two familiar faces sitting in the stands. Friend Dr. Gene wanted to take a picture with the two Women of Troy Sand Volleyball players. So we walked over to them.

It was so nice to visit with Sara Hughes (1/31/2014) and Sophie Bukovec (3/5/2015). Sara told me that she and Sophie were volunteering on campus. I took this picture of Gene and my two friends. FIGHT ON, Sophie! FIGHT ON, Sara! FIGHT ON, Gene!

Ronald and J.J. JonesDuring the exhibition, several football players came to watch the women play. One particular player sat near Trojan Candy. I recognized him right away and walked over to talk with him. Ronald Jones II and I talked about our birth state Texas. Then I met his younger brother J.J. who was visiting from Dallas. J.J. told me he runs track. Possibly another Trojan! FIGHT ON, RoJo! FIGHT ON, J.J.!

It's Homecoming! The Arizona Wildcats are in town.

My Trojan Guild of Los Angeles, TGLA, set up a booth for Homecoming. If you didn't come by this year, do so in 2016. We raise money for USC academic scholarships.

Two Women of Troy volleyball alumnae were honored at the USC-Colorado volleyball match. Their banners were hung with much applause. Trojan Candy had watched both Katie Olsovsky (1/7/2012) and Toni Anderson compete for USC.
