Thursday, April 18, 2024---Women of Troy Beach Volleyball vs UCLA and LMU and Senior Day
Trojan Candy walked into the Merle Norman Stadium for the Women of Troy Beach Volleyball matches vs #1 ranked UCLA and #9 ranked Loyola Marymount (LMU). Today was also Senior Day for our Women of Troy Beach Volleyball Team.
The first thing I noticed were the pictures that were posted on the brick wall near the entrance gate.

The Spirit of Troy came to entertain the USC fans.

Our team beat #1 ranked UCLA by the score of 4-1.
Trojan Candy spotted some very important fans. They were part of our Women of Troy Basketball team. Left to right were ?, Kayla Padilla, India Otto, McKenzie Forbes, and Taylor Bigby.
Our match with #9 ranked LMU began around 2:50 pm. Trojan Candy took some pictures of this match.

Our team beat #9 LMU by the score of 3-2.
Next was the Women of Troy Beach Volleyball Senior Day celebration. Trojan Candy took videos and pictures of the Senior Day.
In post-match ceremonies, the Women of Troy honored their graduate transfers #21 Emily Fitzner, #11 Maddi Kriz, #16 Molly Phillips, #6 Ainsley Radell, and $7 Grace Seits; seniors #5 Olivia Bakos, #22 Megan Kraft, and #23 Delaynie Maple; and fifth-year seniors/graduates #24 Audrey Nourse and #42 Nicole Nourse.
The team lined up for the ceremony.
Associate Head Coach Gustavo Rocha, Assistant Coach Emily Hansen, and Head Coach Dain Blanton joined Emily for this picture.
Maddi's mother Karen Stierman and father Kenneth Kriz posed with her.
Molly Phillips was introduced next.

Grace Seits was the last graduate student to be honored.
Grace was joined by her parents Mary and Mark, brother Blake, and sister Brittany and husband Michael Jimenez.
Olivia Bakos was the first Senior to be introduced.

Megan Kraft was introduced next.
Megan's twin brother Brian and parents Heidi and Mike joined in the Senior Day celebration.
Delaynie Maple followed her partner Megan.
Delaynie came with her parents Trent and Raquel.
Audrey Nourse walked with her parents first.
Audrey's mother Sherri and father Jerry posed with her.
Then, Nicole Nourse followed her twin sister Audrey.

After the ceremonies, a team picture of the Seniors was taken. Kneeling were Nicole Nourse, Olivia Bakos, Delaynie Maple, and Audrey Nourse. Standing were Grace Seits, Megan Kraft, Emily Fitzner, Ainsley Radell, Maddi Kriz, and Molly Phillips.
The three coaches joined the graduating students.
