Saturday, January 30, 2016---USC Men's Basketball vs. Washington

David and Baron BluTrojan Candy made it into the Galen Center Founder's Room in time to hear Coach Tony Bland speak to the Trojan basketball fans about our team. When asked about our free throw performance, Coach Bland said that we would shoot 90% free throws. That would be nice! When Coach Bland finished his "Chalk Talk," he told us that one of his good friends was in the audience. It was USC basketball alumnus David Blu (10/28/2012). Most Trojan fans know him as David Bluthenthal. David is Trojan Candy's friend, too! I walked to the rear of the Founder's Room to find him, and there he was talking with friend Sam Chu, who was a USC men's basketball student manager when David was a Freshman. David played at USC in 1998 to 2001 under Coach Henry Bibby. In his Senior year, USC made it to the Final Eight! David brought his cute four year old son Baron to the game. David told me that he works for Merrill Lynch Money Management and that he works out at the L.A. Athletic Club. So nice to visit with him again. FIGHT ON, David!

Practicing
When I finally entered the arena, our men were practicing at the south end of the court.

Tipoff
The opening tip began the game.
Our men started out fast, as usual. Washington shot very well at first, but our men persevered!
Song Girls
The Song Girls performed in this video.
Halftime
Our men led Washington 44 to 33 at the half. At half-time, the Song Girls performed with "little Trojans" who attended their workshop earlier.
Dance Force
In the second half, the Dance Force's routine was lively in this video.

Here are some pictures of our team as they shot free throws near the end of the game.
