Saturday, September 9, 2023---USC vs Stanford Football Game

Yesterday evening, Trojan Candy arrived barely in time for the Heritage Hall Football Rally before the Stanford football game, because the rally actually started 15 minutes early.

I spotted the honored USC football player. Here is #2 Brenden Rice as he spoke to the crowd.
video 4352
When the Spirit of Troy started playing “Conquest,” Brenden climbed the ladder and held up the sword!
KEEP FIGHTING ON, Brenden!!!

Now, about the football game on Saturday....

My entire USC vs Stanford Football Game blog will be comprised of Coliseum Big Screen Videos. ENJOY!

Before the game started, DJ Mal-Ski spoke with USC Men’s Basketball Alumnus Jordan McLaughlin (5/26/2015).
video 4491
The next video featured USC Football Alumnus Amon-Ra St. Brown (12/12/2018). He led the team out of the tunnel.
video 4497video 4498
USC won the toss and decided to receive the ball. Trojan Candy always records our first drive, because there is a good chance that we will score. I took these two videos of our first drive. We did score!
video 4530
The El Segundo Little League World Series Champions were introduced next. The Coliseum erupted with applause! Congratulations, El Segundo!
video 4540
Our three time in a row NCAA Champion Women of Troy Beach Volleyball Team was honored.
video 4544
Here is a spoof of some of our football players.
video 4547
The big screen congratulated our Caleb Williams next.

Now it was halftime and our team was winning 49-3. The Spirit of Troy took the field and played with a drone show beyond the peristyle.
video 4567
During halftime, a comparison of the two quarterbacks was shown.

In the second half, Miller Moss came in as the quarterback and would play the rest of the game. Every one of our players would play in the game.

Then, our Three Time Champion Beach Volleyball Team was honored again.

Miller Moss scored our last touchdown of the day in the fourth quarter.

The final score of the game was USC 56 – Stanford 10!
