Saturday, March 23, 2024---Trojan Invitational Track and Field meet

My husband Jim and I volunteered at the Ron and Sharlene Allice Trojan Invitational track and field meet on Allyson Felix Field at Loker Stadium. Trojan Candy volunteered as a photographer. Jim worked at the Long Jump. His job was to measure and record the wind velocity.

Trojan Candy took this picture of the Men’s Long Jump volunteers. You can see that it was a wet day.

Four USC Long Jumpers were waiting for their competition to start. They are Ahnyx Bush, Jada Foreman, Alyssa Hope, and Jada Gatlin.

This is friend Summer Mosley (03/19/2022) whom I met when she was a freshman and is now a Senior. Summer was volunteering at the Women’s Shot Put.

Jim was doing his job.

Then, I took this picture of four Women of Troy javelin throwers. They are Annabel Doherty, Sara Zabarino, Kamryn Elgersma, and Abbey Knoll.

Sara Zabarino is a graduate transfer who trailed in the javelin throw competition by 8 inches entering the final round. She won the event with her final throw of 166'1" (50.63m).

JC Stevenson competed in the long jump.

Woman of Troy Reese Garland threw the shot put.

Ahnyx Bush did the long jump.

Jada Foreman did the long jump.

Nearby, Trojan Candy, took this picture of distance runner Zane Golpariani who won the 3000m steeplechase.

The next event was the Women’s 4x100m relay.

Here are three Women of Troy who ran in the relay. They are Christine Mallard, Jassani Carter, and Jordan Washington who were listening to Coach Joanna Hayes.
