Saturday, January 19, 2019---USC Men's Basketball vs UCLA
Trojan Candy was excited about the Men's basketball game against crosstown rival UCLA at Galen Center.
Our men ran out of the tunnel to warm up.
Both teams warmed up.
Here is a panoramic view of the Galen Center with both teams warming up.
My friend, Keith Williams Jr. performed the "Star Spangled Banner." He was hugged by the team.
Here is the introduction of our USC starting lineup.
The tip-off starts the game.
Our men started the game ahead 16-4 over the Bruins. We went into the locker room at half-time ahead 36-33. Then in the second half our team took it to the Bruins. At one time during the second half we led by 26 points!
Also, USC fans got very excited when UCLA center Moses Brown missed two free throws in a row in the second half. That meant that every fan in attendance won a free Chick-Fil-A sandwich. Yum!
Trojan Candy saw on the big screen that friend Nick Young was "in the house!" Naturally, I walked down to the north courtside seats to see him. The nice gentleman, who was sitting by Nick, took this picture of us. Thank you! Keep Fighting On, Nick!
As I was leaving Nick, Trojan Candy saw our USC mascot and the Chick-Fil-A mascot sparring.
Because our players are so fast, it is hard to take clear moving pictures, so I took a few pictures of our players shooting free throws.
Elijah Weaver shot a free throw too.
We out-shot the Bruins in the second half 53.3% to their 37.8% and beat them 80 to 67!
Here is the end of the game celebration.
My friend Nick Young wasn't the only USC alumni at this game. Football friend Nelson Agholor was there with Athletic Director Lynn Swann. They spoke together for a long time.
Then, Trojan Candy took this picture of Nelson Agholar.

We Beat the Bruins!

Trojan Candy was at the Women of Troy basketball game vs. Oregon when Kobe Bryant walked in and sat down courtside. He was quite amiable.
Kobe posed with two yell leaders.
I took a video of Kobe as he walked back to his seat.
Then Kobe saw two friends. Derek Fisher and Ann Meyers were also at the game.
