Saturday, November 26, 2016---USC Football Honors its Seniors

It was sunny and dry before the USC-Notre Dame football game. As usual, the starting lineups were displayed on the Coliseum Video Board.

Just before the USC team ran onto the field, the 2016 Seniors were honored. USC Alumnus Sedrick Ellis led the rest of the team into the Coliseum.

During the game, Junior Adoree' Jackson accomplished the "unbelievable!" He scored on a punt return, a kick-off return and on a screen pass!

After the game, the Spirit of Troy played Conquest for any player who wanted to direct them. Trojan Candy took these three videos from across the field.

After Adoree' Jackson conducted the Spirit of Troy in "Conquest," the students kept shouting, "One more year!!!" Trojan Candy agrees with them!

Saturday, November 19, 2016---USC Women of Troy Volleyball Senior Salute

Trojan Candy was able to be on the court to take pictures and videos of the Women of Troy Volleyball Senior Salute. I walked to the southeast tunnel first where the families of the three Seniors were waiting. I took pictures of the proud parents and their families.

Unfortunately, our Women of Troy lost the match 3-1, but what a memorable Women's Volleyball Senior Night!

Saturday, November 12, 2016---Men's Water Polo vs. UCLA

Trojan Candy arrived fifty minutes early at the Uytengsu Stadium for the USC-UCLA water polo match. It was the last match of the regular season for my Trojans. UCLA was undefeated and ranked #1. They were riding a fifty-seven game win streak, and we haven't beaten them in two seasons.

The Stadium was filling up quickly. My sister Pat saved me a perfect seat to take pictures and videos.

Our team warmed up.

For Senior Salute, two Seniors were honored. Jon Walters was honored in Memoriam. Jon's younger brother James is currently on the team. FIGHT ON, forever, Jon! Senior and Team Captain Nick Bell was honored next. FIGHT ON, Nick!

The team huddled with Coach Vavic before the introductions.

Trojan Candy was lucky to videorecord five USC goals. Grant Stein scored this goal to break a 2-2 tie in the second period.

This goal by Lachlan Edwards on a 6 on 5 power play increased our lead to 4-2. UCLA closed the gap to 4-3 before halftime.

With SC down 5-6, SC opened the 4th Period by winning the Sprint, and Nick Bell tied the score at 6-6 with this goal.

Both teams huddled.

Again Grant Stein broke the 6-6 tie with a goal.

Senior Blake Edwards scored a goal to produce an 8-7 lead off another 6 on 5 power play.

Our team played magnificent defense! Goalie McQuin Baron blocked the Bruin's last shot.

The final score was USC 8, UCLA 7.
