Saturday, December 15, 2012---The John McKay Center Football Locker Room
Check out the link (at the end of this article) to my Picasa album.
Trojan Candy was able to tour the John McKay Center again. Remember....it is a closed facility. The highlight of the tour would be the Football Locker Room. Trojan Candy would finally be able to see the locker that I donated.
Our tour began with the Work-Out Equipment Area.
On the wall of the Work-Out Equipment area were many performance charts. This is the "USC Football Top Performances of Pro Agility Drill." This drill tests acceleration, deceleration, and ability to change direction. Check out the names.
We next viewed the National Championship Football Trophies upstairs.
Then, we congregated at the Locker Room Door. There was such excitement as we entered the Locker Room.
Inside, the lockers were divided into six sections. They were titled "Faithful, Scholarly, Skillful, Courageous, Ambitious, and Lock-In." My locker was located in the "Faithful" section. Safety John Auran #41 occupies my locker.

My sister Pat and brother-in-law Dudley Poon donated a locker in the "Scholarly" section. Offensive Lineman, Center Abe Markowitz #50, occupies their locker. (Picture courtesy of Charles Chan)
In the "Lock-In" section, I found friend Robert Wood's locker.
In the "Courageous" section, I found friend Matt Barkley's locker.
Trojan Candy will dearly miss both Matt and Robert! FIGHT ON, Matt! FIGHT ON, Robert!
We could be in the Locker Room for only 45 minutes, because the team would be returning from practice soon. I ran around taking pictures as fast as I could.
Trojan Candy took my final picture of the entire Locker Room after everyone else left.
As Jim and I walked out of the John McKay Center, we met several friends who were leaving after their football practice.
Morgan Breslin, Erick Jepsen and Greg Townsend
Zack Kusnir
Luis Nevarez
Kevon Seymour
I have uploaded more pictures to this PICASA ALBUM.
Trojan Candy will be writing next about the January 12th Women of Troy Volleyball Banquet.
FIGHT ON, until then!
